For installation (the preferred choice for most customers, and what is recommended), you should use PowerFLARM Core ADS-B, together with a certified FLARM Compatible display, e.g. Air Traffic Display from Air Avionics, or the V3 or V4 from the company Aboba. The EASA MCA, which you can purchase here, includes all ELA2 aircraft (e.g. airplanes up to 2'000 kg). For other aircraft, your installer will have to get an individual MCA from EASA. They can preferably use our MCA documents for this. To purchase the MCA for an aircraft that is not in the AML and not found in the database on the MCA product page, contact us and we will add it to the database.
If your intention is to use the PowerFLARM Portable, this is a PED (Portable Electronic Device) and does not require any installation or certification. The EASA Minor Change Approval (MCA) and the appurtenant Approved Model List (AML) is only for PowerFLARM Core.
